My family is a fairly peculiar one (and don't you make the crack that you could tell it from watching how I turned out).

Since this page and my picture page were developed at different times, to see pictures of my family you need to go here. On this page you'll just have to settle for verbal descriptions.

That which does not kill you makes you stronger. -- Nietzsche

General Family Traits:

We tend to be Talkative and Friendly, easily starting and continuing conversations with people we have never met before. We seem to be more Intelligent than many, most likely coming (at least partially) from our love of reading, which is something everyone in my family does a considerable amount of. There is also a high frequency of teachers and preachers in the family, leading to a high regard for education and a strong tendency toward Christianity(but not a tendency to be wealthy or in a high tax-bracket). I was taught to think for myself, rather than just accepting someone else's word for things, in my religion, education, and simply life in general. We all tend to be musically inclined, either singing, playing instruments, dancing, or some of all three.

My immediate Family:

My mom--Connie Joan (King) Wilson is the daughter of Phil and Arlene King. Born May 23, 1950 in a little town in Kansas(Concordia) my mom will be 50 next year. She has thinning salt and pepper hair and glasses cover her gray eyes. She stands about 5'6". A certified substitute teacher with an Associates degree in Music Education, she teaches music to K-8th graders in a little country schoolhouse in Nebraska, and she substitute teaches in the Goshen County schools around and in Torrington. She is a very friendly person, often talking to people she has never met before, and has been married to my dad since December 30, 1970. As with the rest of my family, she tends to be supportive of the right to think for one's self, and does not try to suppress our individual beliefs/desires/goals(though she does make strong suggestions and hints at times).

My dad--Seth Carl Wilson is the son of Seth and Anna Wilson. Born July 2, 1950 in a town in Missouri(Joplin), my dad will also be 50 next year, (but not until about 11/2 months after my mom). He's about 5'8", has mostly white hair, and wears contacts in his blue eyes, but when he has his reading glasses on, he does look considerably like Santa Claus (only with less padding). He worked as the head pressman at the Torrington Telegram for years and years, but about 3 years ago he started working at the Northern Exposure (a computer store here in Torrington), though he does still have a newspaper route that he has been delivering since I was in middle school(ostentatiously for exercise . . . or something). He also is active in the church, doing songleading, and working with the Gideons. He tends to be more quiet than my mom, though he does have a fairly sophisticated sense of humor from which I tend to get my punny nature.

My eldest sister--Rosha Colleen (Wilson) Carter was born on September 13, 1974 in Springfield, MO. She is a red-headed, blue-eyed mother of Maxwell Alexander Carter, as of 5 a.m. October 1, 1999. She is about 5'6" tall, and just happens to be my favorite oldest sister in the whole world. On June 1, 1996 she got married to Scott Allen Carter(Sept. 24, 1974), and they currently live in Mattoon, Illinois. As she just had a child, she is not working at any specific, wage-earning job, though she is doing a lot of web related technical help. She did graduate with an Associates degree in Music Ed.(?), from Casper College, and she lived there and played with the Casper College band and the Casper Symphony for several years(French Horn). Scott is working at a book bindery in Mattoon, and he is working on getting his degree in Technical Theatre.

My second sister--Sabia Christine (Wilson) Books was born February 18, 1976 in Aurora, MO. She is a blue-eyed brunette about 5'4" and is the mother of two very cute blonde and blue-eyed boys, Isacc Benjamin Books(born Feb. 4, 1996) and Timothy Faulkner Books(born Jul. 25, 1998)(people keep assuming that Isacc is a girl because of his long blonde hair). She graduated from the University of Wyoming with her degree in Technical theatre, and moved to Renton, Washingon with her husband Joshua Leon Books(May 26, 1975) whom she married February 21, 1998. She is currently being thefull-time mom, in their new house in Seattle, while he works for an internet service provider in Seattle.

My third sister--Joanna Beth Wilson was born July 29, 1980 in Abilene, Kansas(the only one of us four not born in MO). She is a blonde in all senses of the word and stands right behind me when I'm typing on the computer at a height of about 5'10". Her blue eyes tend to be unfocused a lot, due to the time she spends in her own little world. She has just transferred to the University of Wyoming after getting her associates degree pre-med at the Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, with the ultimate goal of becoming a missionary doctor. She is also currently working at K-mart(I think).
